Lawyers wishing to practise at the independent Bar in New South Wales must ordinarily undertake a period of 12 months readership under the supervision of one or more barristers of not less than 7 years experience.

 

Seventh Floor Garfield Barwick offers accommodation for up to two readers each year for the duration of their 12 month readership. Many of our current members commenced practice at the bar as readers on Sev enth Floor Garfield Barwick.
