Prior to coming to the bar, Ivan was a Solicitor Advocate at Legal Aid NSW, appearing in jury trials, sentences, hearings and other applications across the Local, District and Supreme Courts.
As a solicitor in private practice, and as an indictable solicitor at Legal Aid NSW, he acted for and advised clients charged with serious offences including murder, commercial drug supply, drug importation, white collar crime and sexual assaults involving multiple complainants.
