Marnie has extensive experience in criminal law, having regularly appeared in various courts across NSW.

Marnie commenced as a solicitor in a regional office of the ODPP in 2018. From 2020 Marnie was a Senior Solicitor, and from 2023 held a role as Senior Solicitor within the Specialised Prosecutions team.

Immediately prior to coming to the Bar, Marnie was a Senior Solicitor in the Inquiries and Criminal Law Division of the Crown Solicitor’s Office. Marnie assisted the NSW State Coroner and Deputy State Coroners in a number of complex coronial inquests.

Prior to commencing as a solicitor, Marnie was an Associate at the District Court of New South Wales.

Marnie accepts briefs in a broad range of practice areas. Marnie is appointed to a number of statutory panels, including Legal Aid NSW, CDPP, NSW Crown Solicitors Office and SafeWork NSW.
