Jacklyn accepts briefs in all areas of the law with a particular focus on criminal and public law.
Prior to coming to the bar, Jacklyn was a Coronial and Trial Advocate at the Aboriginal Legal Service. In this role, Jacklyn appeared as advocate in the Coroners Court and had an extensive indictable practice. She also appeared in complex bail applications in the Supreme Court and in complex Local and Children’s Court hearings.
Jacklyn has acted in appeal proceedings in the Court of Criminal Appeal, Supreme Court, and District Court.
Prior to commencing practice, Jacklyn was tipstaff to the Hon. Justice Peter Hamill in the Supreme Court and worked at the Crown Solicitor’s Office. Jacklyn graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts.
