Prior to coming to the Bar Neha was a solicitor at the New South Wales Legal Aid Commission practicing in criminal law. In that capacity, she appeared on a daily basis in a range of criminal matters in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales.

Before her employment with the New South Wales Legal Aid Commission, Neha worked as a prosecutor with the New South Wales Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. There she was involved in a range of District Court jury trial prosecutions and regularly appeared as an advocate in complex criminal proceedings in the Local, Children's and District Courts of NSW.

Neha has also worked in the commercial and insurance litigation groups at two national law firms.
